Season Finale Run to the Village Presented by Nor-Tech

Join us in helping say goodbye to what was a challenging 22/23 FMO Season at our Season Finale run to Fisherman’s Village presented by Nor-Tech. This is the second of two designated fundraising events for our student scholarship program. We are asking each captain to donate a minimum of $100 per boat (more at your discretion). We will be hosted by the soon to be open La Vista restaurant at Fisherman’s Village with a lunch buffet that attendees will be responsible for at the event. The Craft Beer Festival at the Village will also be taking place allowing you to sample craft beers from over 30 breweries while there.

Membership information/renewal:
All vessels participating in FMO events are required to carry insurance and have a club membership. Memberships are on a calendar year basis and if you have not yet renewed your membership for 2021 or are new and wanting to join the club please visit our website https://ftmyersoffshore.com/membership/. If you renew at any time between now and year end your membership will be good for all of 2023.
Route:
Our starting point will be the south side of the Sanibel Bridge. Boats should assemble around 10:45 am and we will leave at 11:00 am sharp. We will be running offshore around the outside of Sanibel / Captiva up to Boca Grande Pass where we will enter Charlotte Harbour and continue North East to Fisherman’s Village. (If unfavorable sea conditions are forecast, we will run the ICW and a notification will be sent out to confirm this change if necessary) Anyone wanting to run the ICW the entire way is welcome to do so.
We will have a Helicopter with Photographer Pete Boden on board for the run.
